What Does YOUR Husband Do During Sacrament Meeting?

Sometimes I tell people I have 4 kids instead of just 3. During church our kids like to write or draw. Sometimes (especially during high council week) Brent and I will join in with them. But the line has to be drawn somewhere. Like right before my over-grown child (aka Brent) draws a mustache on Damon's face. So much for being a reverent example. We took this picture after we got home. Trust me, it was darker during the last part of Sacrament meeting and Primary.

Okay that is just funny! so did both of them get in trouble too? Mine does.. I threaten to put his nose in the corner along with the kids.. since he insist on acting like one.. Although I must say he hasn't tried this one yet..

So funny! That's something my hubby would do! Maybe you should start packing a "quiet bag" for Brent too. Give him one of those baby felt books where you zip the zippers and button the buttons, braid the zebras tail, ect. That should keep his hands busy.

Tami, that is too cute/funny. Isn't funny what guys think about. What woman would ever think to do such a thing. I do have to laugh at the different ways men and women think. Anyway, your son has gorgeous eyes. He sure is a cutie.

Parade

Brittany decided to join the marching band this year. She plays the marimba. The band participates in a lot of parades and marched in the River Heights parade last Saturday. I thought Maya would enjoy the parade so she and I went and watched Brittany. Since the pit section cannot march with their instruments, they hold the shields and march in front of the rest of the band. Brittany is the last on on the right, holding the "T".

New House

We are building a new house!  This project has been in the works for a long time and we chose to keep it a secret until "Dig Day" because of how frustrating the process has been.  We began this adventure in February 2013 when we found the "lot of our dreams".  This piece of land was perfect.  Perfect location (in Providence), perfect size (0.96 acre), perfect orientation (house will face west).   The development process was long and difficult.  Providence City is not easy to work with.  Their requirements are extensive and often times ridiculous and unnecessary.  We've jumped through all kinds of hoops to get to where we are. We are building with Mt. Sterling Custom Homes.  They have a great reputation for designing and building high quality homes.  I had found a house plan that I really liked, had done some tweaking myself, then took it in to Mt.
