What do You do on the 24th?
As we were eating dinner tonight, Brent asked, "What should we do on Christmas eve day?"
Umm, what should we do? Everything is done, we're just ready and waiting. We've watched just about every Christmas movie we own and we've read most of our Christmas books/stories. All of the baking and candy making is complete and the goodies have been delivered. All the gifts are wrapped and sitting patiently under the tree. Since we won't be traveling or going visiting this Christmas, we have all day to do whatever we want. We just have to decided what that want will be. We have big plans from about 4:00 on, but the schedule is clear prior to that time. So, what are your Christmas eve day traditions, assuming you're staying at home? Do tell!

It has been years since we have had a christmas with family so we do alot of fun things. I usually make the kids clean the house till it shines!! We play board games, When we lived in snow I took them to the hills and went sledding. We also did a secret santa one year adopting a needy family, That was really fun!! We go and meet our neighbors and deliver goodies. You could go caroling at your local nursing home:) Or go see someone who is housebound and doesn't have family around. If I lived in Utah I alway loved Temple square! I would totally do that on Christmas eve too! Although its probably crowded.

We will probably do another spotless clean, board games and a christmas movie.. maybe make a few treats just for us. who know.. maybe nothing.. if you find something fun to do during the day SHARE!
