Catching Grasshoppers

Damon is into catching grasshoppers lately. Each evening he can be found outside with one of his little buddies with their butterfly nets and bug jars, filling them with grasshoppers. They catch as many as they can then let the bugs go.

Tonight Damon and Brent had plans to do something together. Brent asked Damon what he wanted to do and Damon gave him a list: Catch grasshoppers. Go on a bike ride. Go out for ice cream.

The boys headed out on their bikes and found a Monarch chrysalis. They brought it home and put it in a jar. Then they headed out to look for grasshoppers before going to get ice cream. I took the opportunity to snap a couple of pictures. Of course, Ellie figured she was invited, too.

Bogger Messed Up My Give Away

Blogger did some maintenance work this past week and during that time a lot of people had a lot of problems with their blogs. Posts disappeared, page layouts were rearranged, comments lost, etc. Sadly, my blog was one that got messed up. Half of the entries to my baby shoe give away are gone and although Blogger says they'll be recovered, that has yet to happen and I don't know how long it will take. So, in order to make this give away fair, I think we need to start over. Sorry, I don't know what else to do. Contest will end Tuesday, May 17 at noon (Utah time).
