It's Taking Forever!

My due date is taking forever to get here. I'm pretty sure time has slowed down. I'm getting tired of packing around this big belly, it just gets in the way and makes me slow. I'm thankful the busy time of year is right around the corner, hopefully that will speed things up. It will be a busy couple of months since I need to cram all my holiday prep in a little early this year. That's okay, my lists have been made and my mental planning started in September. As soon as the kids decide what they want for Christmas I'll be good to go. Damon's list is already kinda long.

Yeah amen to that my friend. UTI and veins cutting off my circulation...makes it hard to um...walk and stuff.

It kills me that you are sooooo on top of christmas and holidays! I haven't started halloween yet!!! jeez!
I hear you on the take for ever mo. of pregnancy.. I always wished for a fast forward button in the last trimester!

Parade

Brittany decided to join the marching band this year. She plays the marimba. The band participates in a lot of parades and marched in the River Heights parade last Saturday. I thought Maya would enjoy the parade so she and I went and watched Brittany. Since the pit section cannot march with their instruments, they hold the shields and march in front of the rest of the band. Brittany is the last on on the right, holding the "T".

New House

We are building a new house!  This project has been in the works for a long time and we chose to keep it a secret until "Dig Day" because of how frustrating the process has been.  We began this adventure in February 2013 when we found the "lot of our dreams".  This piece of land was perfect.  Perfect location (in Providence), perfect size (0.96 acre), perfect orientation (house will face west).   The development process was long and difficult.  Providence City is not easy to work with.  Their requirements are extensive and often times ridiculous and unnecessary.  We've jumped through all kinds of hoops to get to where we are. We are building with Mt. Sterling Custom Homes.  They have a great reputation for designing and building high quality homes.  I had found a house plan that I really liked, had done some tweaking myself, then took it in to Mt.
