Damon's Baptism

My baby boy got baptized yesterday.  (He gets mad when I call him that, but as his mother, I will retain that right forever.)   It was a great day, with lots of family present and it's always a wonderful thing to watch a child make such an important decision.  The Spirit was strong during the actual baptism and also during the Confirmation.  Brent did a good job with both  and those were some proud moments for me to be able to watch my two most favorite boys participate in those ordinances.  We are so proud of Damon for making this choice.

After the service we had lunch at our house.  Damon requested BBQ chicken sandwiches, so that's what we did.  Thanks to all who helped to make this such a special day.

Bogger Messed Up My Give Away

Blogger did some maintenance work this past week and during that time a lot of people had a lot of problems with their blogs. Posts disappeared, page layouts were rearranged, comments lost, etc. Sadly, my blog was one that got messed up. Half of the entries to my baby shoe give away are gone and although Blogger says they'll be recovered, that has yet to happen and I don't know how long it will take. So, in order to make this give away fair, I think we need to start over. Sorry, I don't know what else to do. Contest will end Tuesday, May 17 at noon (Utah time).
